The program

Calltide is crew scheduling software used by event staffing companies to schedule their own staff. If you work for a company that uses Calltide and you choose to receive texts, we text you on that company's behalf about your work shifts: availability requests, shift offers, schedule changes and cancellations, reminders, your personal schedule link, and one-time codes to confirm your mobile number. Each text names the company it is from. We never send marketing or promotional messages.

Signing up

You sign up on your personal set-up page, sent to you by your employer, by choosing Text message, entering your mobile number and ticking the consent box. Texting is optional: you can choose email instead and still receive every scheduling message.

How often

Message frequency varies with the event schedule — usually a few texts a week in busy periods, fewer when it's quiet. Texts are held during your company's quiet hours (8 pm to 8 am unless your company sets other hours), except reminders at a time you chose yourself.

Cost

We don't charge for texts. Message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply.

Stopping texts

Reply STOP to any text and we'll stop texting you; you'll get one message confirming it. Every company on Calltide texts from the same number, so STOP stops texts from all of them. You'll keep getting your scheduling messages by email. You can also switch to email on your set-up page or tell your manager. To start texts again, reply START or choose Text message on your set-up page.

Help

Reply HELP to any text, email hello@calltide.ca, or talk to your manager.
